Last updated: 19 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pawbeans ("we", "us", or "our"), as the operator of lonewolves.dev (the "Site"), collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information in connection with this privately operated, self-hosted LinkStack instance.
The Site is invite-only. Public account registration is not offered. The Site uses the open-source LinkStack software and is hosted on infrastructure located in Switzerland.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed through the Site. It should be read together with the Site's Terms of Use.
1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Information you provide to us
Because accounts are invite-only, we collect only the information reasonably necessary to create, administer, and operate authorized user accounts and profile pages.
Depending on how you use the Site, this may include:
Information processed automatically

This technical information may be processed as necessary to deliver the Site, troubleshoot problems, maintain security, detect abuse, and operate the server.
Sensitive personal information
The Site is not intended to collect sensitive personal information. Please do not intentionally submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and you understand that profile information may be publicly visible depending on your profile settings.
Public profile information
Although user accounts are created privately and by invitation only, LinkStack profile pages may be publicly accessible. Information that you intentionally publish on a public profile should therefore be treated as publicly available information.
You are responsible for deciding what information you choose to publish on your profile.
2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
We process personal information only where reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and administer the Site.
This may include processing information to:
We do not use personal information for unrelated advertising purposes and do not sell personal information.
3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON?
The Site is operated and hosted in Switzerland. Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) where applicable.
Depending on the circumstances and the law that applies, personal information may be processed because:
If the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or another regional data protection law applies to a particular processing activity, we will rely on an appropriate legal basis as required by that law.
4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We do not sell personal information and do not share it with third parties for third-party advertising or unrelated marketing purposes.
Personal information may nevertheless be disclosed or made accessible in limited circumstances where reasonably necessary, including:
Any service provider that processes personal information on behalf of the Site should receive only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant service.
5. WHERE IS YOUR INFORMATION STORED?
The Site is hosted on infrastructure located in Switzerland.
Primary Site data is intended to be stored and processed through that infrastructure. However, information may also pass through or be processed by internet, DNS, email, network, backup, security, or other service providers depending on the technical configuration of the Site.
Where personal information is transferred or made accessible across national borders, applicable legal requirements regarding such transfers will be followed where required.
6. DO WE USE COOKIES OR SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES?
The Site may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies that are reasonably necessary for the Site to function.
These may be used for purposes such as:
We do not intentionally use cookies for third-party behavioral advertising or cross-site advertising tracking unless this Privacy Policy is updated to disclose such use.
You may be able to configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies that are necessary for authentication or Site functionality may prevent certain features from working correctly.
7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required or permitted by applicable law.
Account information will generally be retained while your account remains active.
If your account is deleted or access is permanently withdrawn, associated personal information may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably needed. Some information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, caches, or security records until those records are overwritten or deleted through normal retention processes.
Certain information may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, investigate security incidents, prevent abuse, or establish or defend legal rights.
8. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?
Reasonable technical and organizational measures may be used to protect personal information and the Site against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
However, no internet-connected system, server, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should use a strong and unique password.
If you believe your account or personal information has been compromised, you should contact Pawbeans as soon as reasonably possible.
9. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
Depending on the data protection law applicable to you and the circumstances of the processing, you may have rights concerning your personal information.
These may include the right to:
These rights are subject to applicable law and may not apply in every circumstance.
You may also update certain information directly through your account where the Site provides that functionality.
To request access, correction, deletion, or another privacy-related action, contact Pawbeans using the contact information made available on lonewolves.dev.
10. ACCOUNT DELETION
You may ask Pawbeans to deactivate or delete your account.
When an account is permanently deleted, associated information will be removed from active systems where reasonably practical, subject to technical limitations and any applicable legal or security-related retention requirements.
Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups, logs, caches, or other technical systems until they are overwritten or deleted through normal processes.
11. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
User profiles on the Site are primarily designed to provide links to third-party websites and services.
Pawbeans does not control the privacy practices of websites or services linked from user profiles. When you leave lonewolves.dev and visit another website, that website's own privacy policy and terms apply.
You should review the privacy practices of third-party services before providing personal information to them.
12. DO-NOT-TRACK AND TRACKING PREFERENCES
Because the Site is not intended to perform third-party behavioral advertising or cross-site advertising tracking, browser "Do Not Track" signals generally do not change the basic operation of the Site.
Necessary cookies or similar technologies may still be used for authentication, security, preferences, and essential Site functionality.
If the Site's tracking practices materially change, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
13. INTERNATIONAL AND REGIONAL PRIVACY RIGHTS
Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction. Rather than applying a separate blanket policy for every country or region, Pawbeans will consider legitimate privacy requests in accordance with the data protection law that applies to the relevant person and processing activity.
Individuals in Switzerland may have rights under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.
If EU or EEA data protection law applies to a particular processing activity, affected individuals may also have rights under the GDPR and may have the right to lodge a complaint with an applicable supervisory authority.
14. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Site is private and invite-only and is not intended as a service directed specifically at children.
Accounts are created only with the approval of Pawbeans. If a person is legally unable to consent to the processing of their personal information under applicable law, any consent or authorization required by law must be obtained before they use the Site.
If you believe personal information relating to a child has been processed unlawfully through the Site, contact Pawbeans so the matter can be reviewed.
15. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, its technical configuration, its data-processing practices, or applicable legal requirements.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy will indicate when the policy was most recently revised.
Where reasonably practical, users may also be informed directly of significant changes.
